Writing competitions provide an excellent opportunity for students to research and write on a topic of interest and to receive recognition or a cash prize. Competitions are listed here and new ones are highlighted in the weekly Chase Postings. Some competitions require original work, but others allow students to submit papers for which academic credit has been received. Pay attention to the competitions as they are announced and, if one interests you, consider entering.
