Chase relies on the generosity of alumni and friends to help underwrite activities and student scholarships that public funding does not fully fund, and to establish scholarships and legacy programs that distinguish Chase in legal education.
Every gift helps ensure that new generations of lawyers receive the quality education that exemplifies Chase. Your gift helps provide classes and programs to prepare students to be the practice-ready graduates who maintain the Chase reputation as The Lawyer’s School.
The Chase Annual Fund is an unrestricted fund that supports such programs as scholarships to attract outstanding students and faculty research to introduce new concepts in legal thinking to the profession. Annual Fund contributions may also be designated for Chase Student Scholarships, Chase Scholarship Honoring Professor Emeritus Roger Billings, Chase Faculty Excellence, or any Chase program.
If you would like to establish an endowed scholarship, please call David MacKnight, associate dean for advancement, at (859) 572-5276 to discuss your interest.
A gift in any amount helps Chase maintain the classes and initiatives that have benefitted students through the years.
Donors who give $1,000 or more become part of the Dean’s Circle, and are recognized in the Honor Roll of Donors published in the Chase alumni magazine, and are invited to participate in special social and educational programs.
As Chase observes the 125th anniversary of its founding in 1893, gifts in the amount of $1,893 provide particular recognition and support of the role of Chase in legal education.
The Chase Challenge is a friendly challenge for law firms and businesses with two or more Chase alumni to have 100 percent of them contribute in any amount to the Chase Annual Fund. The reward, along with the satisfaction of supporting Chase, is a plaque for the organization and lunch for everyone who participated.
