CHASE LAW NEW COURTROOM PROJECT

A BRAND NEW STATE-OF-THE-ART COURTROOM AND ADVOCACY TRAINING HUB

Courtroom Rendering

Chase College of Law is embarking on an exciting initiative to construct a brand-new state-of-the art courtroom and advocacy training hub on the first floor of Nunn Hall, the law school’s home since 1982. The new Chase courtroom design will accommodate use by the seven member Kentucky Supreme Court, as well as federal and state appellate and trial courts. The courtroom will be appointed with all the features of a traditional courtroom, including a judges bench, counsel tables, a podium, a jury box, a witness stand, a bailiff box and gallery seating. In addition, the space will include an adjacent jury deliberation room and judges chambers suitable for use in a mock or actual court proceeding.

Once in operation, the new courtroom will provide Chase students with the most up-to-date technology to enhance their advocacy skills. Members of the bench and bar, as well as local businesses and other enterprises will have access to the newly constructed space when not in use by the law school. We are excited to bring this educational community resource to the campus. Our aim is to promote the professional development of Chase students and enhance the educational and business opportunities for our partners in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky region.
