Christopher D. Geisel earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2025. He is currently serving in a clerkship with the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Judicial Department.
Before law school, Dr. Geisel served on active duty in the U.S. Air Force as a developmental engineer and program manager. After earning his Ph.D. from Purdue University, he completed a tour of duty as an assistant professor of astronautical engineering at the Air Force Institute of Technology. His military service also included deployments to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Dr. Geisel’s scholarship in constitutional law is rooted in his lifelong fascination with America’s founding documents. As a high school senior, he won the American Legion’s oratorical contest in New York State and delivered his speech about the Constitution at the national competition.
