Learning from the People Building the Future
Through visits to entrepreneurial ecosystems in Louisville, Nashville, Columbus, and beyond, students engage directly with founders, CEOs, investors, policymakers, and innovators who are shaping industries and creating economic growth. Students hear firsthand stories of startup launches, successful acquisitions, fundraising challenges, and business growth. They have learned from pioneering women entrepreneurs who built companies at a time when women often faced significant barriers to obtaining financing, as well as founders who transformed ideas into nationally recognized businesses.
Behind-the-Scenes Access
Exclusive experiences with Queen City Angels provide students with an inside look at investing, startup evaluation, and capital formation. Through collaborative programming with Xavier University's entrepreneurship community, students expand their professional networks while learning from entrepreneurs, investors, and startup leaders across the region. Meetings with state officials and economic development leaders offer insight into the programs, partnerships, and resources that support entrepreneurs and strengthen regional innovation.
Students also meet leaders from diverse industries, from agricultural enterprises supporting Kentucky's bourbon industry to technology innovators and entrepreneurs creating new approaches to organizational and cultural change.
