Christen Steimle is general counsel for medical supplier and manufacturer located in Cincinnati. Previously, she served as a law clerk for both magistrate and district judges in the Eastern District of Kentucky and Southern District of Ohio. David Jeffries is a partner in Wood, Herron & Evans, in Cincinnati, where he concentrates on patent matters in the areas of biology, biotechnology, immunology, genomics, pharmaceuticals and biomedical devices. He holds a Juris Doctor from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, a master’s degree from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree from Earlham College.


 

Thomas Rouse has concentrated his practice on professional responsibility issues, family law, bodily injury and property claims, and small estate planning. Robert Furnier, director of the W. Bruce Lunsford Academy for Law, Business + Technology, is cofounder of the Furnier Muzzo Group law firm. His practice has been concentrated primarily in complex litigation. Judge Gregory Bartlett

Judge Gregory M. Bartlett is a retired judge of Kenton County (Covington) Circuit Court, in Northern Kentucky. He holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law, a master’s degree from Xavier University and a bachelor’s degree from Thomas More University.


 


Michelle Browning Coughlin brings her years of experience, skill, and passion for intellectual property law to her role as Of Counsel at ND Galli Law. Michelle started her legal career in BigLaw and also has experience owning her own IP boutique law practice and as General Counsel to a growing tech company.  In addition to her law practice, Michelle is devoted to issues of gender equity, merging her prior career experience in social work with her law career.  Notably, Michelle is the founder and president of the national nonprofit organization MothersEsquire®, which advocates for gender equity, motherhood, and caregiver issues. In November 2019, Michelle authored the children’s book, My Mom, the Lawyer, and donated all proceeds of the book to MothersEsquire to support its advocacy initiatives.  Additionally, Michelle was appointed to the ABA Presidential Commission on Women in 2020 and continues to serve as a Commissioner.  Michelle has served as an adjunct professor of Gender Law & Policy at the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law and Northern Kentucky University Chase College of Law.  
Christopher Muzzo

Christopher Muzzo is director of the Small Business & Nonprofit Law Clinic and teaches law and technology-related classes. In addition to his law practice in the Furnier Muzzo Group, where he is managing partner and focuses on commercial litigation and business transactions, he is founder and chief executive of LexTotus, an online consultancy for lawyers in career planning and work-life balance. He holds a Juris Doctor and a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University.  


 
Zachary Peterson

Zachary Peterson is of counsel at Keating, Muething & Klekamp, in Cincinnati. He focuses on representing companies in corporate matters, including mergers, acquisitions and divestures, as well as business formation, organization and other commercial transactions. He holds a Juris Doctor from Chase College of Law and a bachelor’s degree from Miami (Ohio) University.


 

Ann Schoen is chair of the Intellectual Property Department of Frost Brown Todd, in Cincinnati, where she counsels clients on intellectual property matters and represents clients in patent, trademark, trade secret, and copyright litigation. She previously was in-house patent counsel at General Electric Co. She holds a Juris Doctor from Chase College of Law and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame.
