Professor Dennis R. Honabach joined Chase College of Law as dean and a professor of law in 2006. Since stepping down from the deanship in 2013, he continues to serve as a professor of law.
Prior to coming to Chase, he served as dean and professor of law at Washburn University School of Law, and as president, dean, professor of law and director of the Entrepreneurial Law Center at Western State University College of Law. He previously held faculty appointments at Vermont Law School, Rutgers University–Camden School of Law and the University of the District of Columbia School of Law.
Professor Honabach is co-author of D&O Liability Handbook and Proxy Rules Handbook. He has served as a chair and as a member of several committees of the American Bar Association and the Association of American Law Schools. His publications include law review articles on topics that include managerial liability, toxic torts, and legal education.
Professor Honabach earned a Juris Doctor at Yale Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in economics at Bucknell University.
