Description: This one-credit seminar is the same course taken by students in the Small Business & Nonprofit Law Clinic. This course is offered in fall only, for students interested in participating in the Clinic in fall or spring. It can also be taken as a stand-alone, one-credit course. The course involves simulation exercises, several outside speakers and covers a variety of topics, including both substantive law issues and practice management skills, such as mock client interviews and writing emails to clients, all typical for representing small businesses. Limited to 20 students; priority given to SBNLC students and those planning to register for SBNLC in spring.
Prerequisite: Completion of 30 credit hours.
