Description: Legal Drafting - Litigation is an advanced legal writing course designed for law students in their second, third, and fourth years for preparing documents used in litigation. The goals of this class are to develop writing and editing skills that litigators use in trial practice and managing cases. The course will strive to conceptualize students' writing, and then to write clearly, persuasively, and precisely. Clarity in thought and brevity in communication -- these are the hallmarks of effective, persuasive writing.
Prerequisite: Basic Legal Skills - Writing; Civil Procedure
