| Description: | Global trade in assets protected by intellectual property dominates international cooperation agreements and defines many of the relations among nations. This course focuses on the law and policy underlying these global considerations. Through a comparative approach, this course will study the legal systems that protect this intellectual property (IP), with primary focus on copyright, patent, and trademark law and assess these in light of the public policy and economic implications. |
