Michael Whiteman, who is co-acting dean of Chase, will become interim dean on June 1. Dean Whiteman, who has taught criminal law and legal research and is associate dean for law library services and information technology, has been a faculty member since July 2002. With his wide range of experiences – teaching, chairing committees, and overseeing aspects of day-to-day operations – he has a lot of insights for how Chase will continue to best prepare students to become lawyers. Dean Whiteman holds a Bachelor of Arts from Concordia University, a Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville, and a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from Simmons College. He was admitted to practice in Massachusetts.
