Two Chase alumni – W. Bruce Lunsford and Wil Schroder II – will receive awards from the Northern Kentucky University Alumni Association.

Mr. Lunsford, who was graduated in 1974, will receive the Outstanding Alumnus Award and Mr. Schroder, who was graduated in 2008, will receive the Outstanding Young Alumnus Award.

Mr. Lunsford is founder of the venture capital firm Lunsford Capital, in Louisville, and a former Kentucky Secretary of Commerce. He endowed the W. Bruce Lunsford Academy for Law, Business + Technology at Chase for teaching multidiscipline approaches to problem solving. Mr. Schroder is a Kentucky State Senator who represents the 24th District of Campbell, Pendleton, and Bracken counties, and who chairs two Senate committees. He practices in the Cincinnati firm of Dinsmore & Shohl.

Mr. Lunsford and Mr. Schroder received the awards Feb. 9.
