Chase offers a Master of Legal Studies (MLS) degree program designed for professionals who are interested in learning about the law and legal principles but not necessarily completing law school and sitting for the bar exam.
The MLS degree at Chase is offered in two tracks:
The in-person MLS is earned on the Chase campus and focuses on general legal studies. Students are eligible to enroll in classes with Chase J.D. students, including day and evening courses.
The online remote MLS is earned through distance education and focuses on digital law and technology. Students learn about legal issues involving technology, including AI, cybersecurity, blockchain, privacy, and digital commerce.
PLEASE NOTE: Students can earn only one MLS degree at Chase.
Students who earn (complete) an MLS degree in one track (general legal studies or digital law and technology) are not eligible to enroll in another MLS track at Chase.
