Profile

Professor Burton is the Director of Academic Success and Bar Support, providing support and assistance to students throughout their law school careers. She teaches the Foundations III Bar Review course for students in their final year of study to prepare students with the skills they need to effectively study for the bar exam.

Professor Burton is a graduate of Chase College of Law. Prior to teaching, Professor Burton practiced domestic relations law and clerked for Kentucky Supreme Court Justice Michelle M. Keller. Professor Burton is a member of the Ohio, Kentucky, and Northern Kentucky Bar Associations.

Professor Burton currently serves as a Commissioner on the Covington Human Rights Commission.  Her legal interests include domestic relations, civil rights, discrimination, and child law.
