Alumna Danielle Lewis Joining Chase Faculty

Danielle Lewis, a Chase graduate and a partner in the Louisville, Ky., office of Reminger Co., will join the Chase faculty next academic year as a visiting assistant professor and director of trial and appellate advocacy programs.

• As a faculty member: She will teach Basic Legal Skills and Legal Methods. She began teaching legal skills and methods this past autumn as an adjunct professor. As director of trial and appellate advocacy programs, she will work with Professor Jack Harrison, director of the Center for Excellence in Advocacy, to enhance those practice-oriented programs for students.

• As a lawyer: She focuses on defending businesses and individuals in general liability, professional negligence and employment matters. She is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Kentucky and West Virginia and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

• As an individual: Her husband, Ben Lewis, is also a Chase graduate and is a partner in the Louisville firm of Dentons Bingham Greenebaum. They have two children.
