Services

The Chase College of Law Library welcomes visitors and members of the community. Although the primary focus of the law library is to provide services needed by the law faculty and law students, the library offers many services which are available to all who enter. Our goal is to provide high quality library service. We are here to help.

Circulation

The Circulation Desk is staffed all hours the library is open to the general public.

Although much of the law library’s collection is non-circulating, due to its research value, single volume treatises can be checked out. All check-out and check-in takes place at the Circulation Desk. To check out any item users must present a current NKU I.D. or a Chase library card.

Messages

Although the law library is unable to page any library user, the Circulation Desk staff will take telephone messages. These messages are posted by Circulation staff on the kiosk located adjacent to the Reserve Room. Any user should feel free to leave messages for others on the kiosk. The number to call to leave a message is 859.572.5394.

Photocopiers

One photocopier is located on the main floor of the library in a room directly across from the Circulation Desk. Two additional copiers are located on the first floor. Any problems with the photocopiers should be reported to any staff member at the Circulation Desk.

Wireless Network

The law library has a wireless network. This network allows students with wireless enabled laptops to access all of the online resources the library provides from anywhere within the law school. For additional information on the wireless network call 859.572.6662 or 859.572.6031.
