Profile
Professor Stavsky received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University, a Juris Doctor from DePaul University School of Law and a Master of Laws degree from New York University. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar and is a member of the board of directors for the Prisoner Rights Advocacy Center. Stavsky teaches Evidence, Civil and Criminal Procedure, Trial Advocacy, and Comparative Law. In recent years, he has taught classes on the American legal system at the Chulalongkorn University in Thailand, and the Kagawa University in Japan. Stavsky is particularly interested in Asian legal systems and their development.
