Profile
Professor Noble Nacev is a member of the Illinois bar and the Ohio bar. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from The Johns Hopkins University and her Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University of Chicago, School of Law.
Professor Noble Nacev has been on the Adjunct or Visiting Faculty at Salmon P. Chase College of Law of Northern Kentucky University most years since 1987. Prior to that, she taught legal reasoning and writing at the University of Tulsa, College of Law. She has taught Legal Writing and Legal Research primarily and has also taught and written in the area of Elder law. She has also been involved in academic support, serving in the capacity of interim administrator of Chase's program for 3 years. Professor Noble Nacev has taught as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science, Justice Studies Program, at Northern Kentucky University where she taught a range of law-related subjects, including Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure.
In addition, to teaching, Professor Noble Nacev also devotes time to Pro Seniors, a not-for-profit organization, which, among other activities, operates a legal hotline to provide free legal advice to people 60 and over. Earlier in her career, Professor Noble Nacev was an Assistant Cook County State's Attorney in Chicago, Illinois. She was a supervisor in the Criminal Appeals Division. Following graduation from law school, Professor Noble Nacev was a law clerk to one and then another Justice of the Supreme Court of Illinois.
Professor Noble Nacev was awarded the 2006 BLSA Supporter of the Foundation Award.
