Judge Amul Thapar
Judge Thapar graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor's degree in 1991 and earned his law degree from the University of California at Berkeley in 1994. Before becoming a U.S. Attorney in Kentucky, he worked as an assistant U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia and spent time at the Williams & Connolly law firm in Washington, D.C. and at Squire, Sanders & Dempsey in Cincinnati. He clerked at both the United States District Court level and at the United States Court of Appeals level. Judge Thapar became a United States District Court judge in 2007. Judge Thapar teaches Federal Practice and Procedure.
