Jay Vaughn
Professor Vaughn has been an attorney with the law firm Busald Funk & Zevely in Florence, Kentucky since October 2002. He graduated from NKU Chase in 2002 and received his Bachelor's degree from Murray State University in 1999. He is licensed to practice in Kentucky, Ohio, the Eastern District of Kentucky, the Western District of Kentucky, and the Southern District of Ohio. Professor Vaughn is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, the Northern Kentucky Bar Association, the NKBA Young Lawyer's Division, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Cincinnati Bar Association, the Kentucky Justice Association (formerly Kentucky Academy of Trial Attorneys), and the American Association for Justice (formerly Association of Trial Lawyers of America). Professor Vaughn served on the NKBA Board of Directors as one of the representatives for Boone County from 2005-2007, and has been a member of KJA/KATA Board since 2003. Professor Vaughan teaches Trial Advocacy, and he has helped coach NKU Chase's National Trial Advocacy Team for three years.
