Michael W. Hawkins

Professor Hawkins is a Partner at Dinsmore & Shohl in Cincinnati, where he focuses on representing private and public employers in all phases of employment law and labor relations matters including litigation in state and federal court, wrongful discharge litigation, collective bargaining negotiations, and contract arbitration. He serves an as Arbitrator and Mediator on the American Arbitration Association Employment Law Panel. He successfully argued and won NLRB v Kentucky River before the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Hawkins received a J.D. degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 1972 and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Kentucky in 1969. Professor Hawkins teaches Labor Law.
