On November 8, the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys (OACTA) presented the “2012 Distinguished Contributions to the Profession Award” to William M. Cussen '69 at their annual meeting in Dayton, Ohio. The award is given to recognize senior practitioners for their long-standing contributions to the profession.
Mr. Cussen is a member of The American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and was installed as the President of the Cincinnati Chapter on November 2nd.
Mr. Cussen has been a practicing attorney for 42 years and is a partner in the firm of McCaslin, Imbus & McCaslin in Cincinnati, Ohio. His practice is concentrated primarily in the field of civil litigation specializing in personal injury, negligence, insurance law, consumer law and product liability. Mr. Cussen is a member of the Ohio, Kentucky and Cincinnati Bar Associations. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the United States District Courts of the Southern District of Ohio and the Eastern District of Kentucky.
Mr. Cussen is a graduate of St. Xavier High School, Xavier University and the Salmon P. Chase College of Law.
