Interview Workshops & Practice

While your resume and cover letter are the key to getting an interview with a prospective employer, the interview is the key to winning the job offer. We teach critical interview skills to students during workshops and offer guidance on how to best prepare for these important career opportunities. Workshops are offered several times each semester, during both day and evening time frames. We also schedule appointments for students who prefer individual meetings or who are unable to attend an interview workshop prior to an interview.

We encourage all students to undergo a practice or mock interview at some point during their law school career. Practice is the key to success! While we are happy to conduct mock interviews with students in the Career Development Office, we also encourage participation in practice interviews with local attorneys at their law office. We work with numerous local attorneys who volunteer their time to conduct practice interviews, and are always happy to schedule interview times for our students.
