Deadline to Submit Resume packets for Fall On-Campus Interview Program - Aug 19, 2008Aug 19
The Fall On-Campus Interview Program is a great opportunity for students to interview with regional employers right here on our campus for law clerk, summer associate, attorney and other legal positions. Interviews with participating employers will take place beginning August 29-November 14, 2008. Most participating employers will be interviewing for Summer 2009 position, and for many of the large and mid size law firms, these summer positions are the track to an attorney position after graduation.
In order to register to participate, students must enroll on TWEN through the “On-Campus Interviews (OCI) Information for Fall 2008” course. Information will be available on the TWEN course about the participating employers, available positions, and employer hiring criteria such as which students can apply (2L, 3L or 4L). Employers have already begun registering to participate in the program, and the Career Development Office will post additional information to the TWEN site as received. Please remember to check the TWEN site over the summer for important information including possible changes to the schedule and a link to review the new NALP timing deadlines. Be aware that the deadline to submit resume packets to the Career Development Office is currently set for August 19, 2008 (the second day of school); it is critical that students prepare their materials over the summer months. The Career Development Office will be available during the summer to review resumes and cover letters, so students should work with Irene at allardi1@nku.edu or Lisa at moorel1@nku.edu now or during the summer to get resumes and cover letters in final form for submission. Notify Irene at allardi1@nku.edu if you have any trouble registering for the TWEN course.
