Tuition & Cost of Attendance

NKU Chase is a public law school offering an affordable education to both in-state and out-of-state residents. In addition, persons from certain counties in Indiana and Ohio will receive the benefit of a reduced tuition cost through the metro rate. A student organization fee of $35 per student, per semester is a separate charge and not included in the tuition figures. Parking fees and any required course fees are not included in the rates.

The Office of Student Financial Assistance must establish an annual cost of attendance (COA). The COA is reflective of the student budget which includes: tuition; room and board; books; transportation; and miscellaneous expenses. *The full-time rates are for students taking 13-16 credit hours per semester. For students taking more than 16 credits (max. 18), add the per hour rate to the full-time rate for the appropriate number of hours taken. 

**The Metro Rate applies to non-resident students whose permanent residences are in select counties in Ohio and Indiana.

Ohio counties: Adams, Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Fayette, Hamilton, Highland and Warren
Indiana counties: Dearborn, Franklin, Jefferson, Ohio, Ripley and Switzerland
