Financial Aid Application Process
For the Office of Student Financial Assistance to determine if you are eligible for assistance, it is necessary that you complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
If you do not hear from the Federal Student Aid Program within 3-4 weeks after filing your FAFSA feel free to call 1-319-337-5665 or 1-800-433-3243 to check your status. To ask general questions regarding calculations of the FAFSA call 1-800-433-3243 Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. (EST).
When applying, please keep in mind the following:
- Do not submit more than one application.
- Make sure that you have included Northern Kentucky University’s Title IV code which is 009275.
- You must reapply for financial aid each year.
