Accepting Your Financial Aid
Please use the following steps to access your financial aid account:
- Go to myNKU and type in your NKU username and password. For assistance with your NKU username and password, please contact the IT Solutions Center at 859-572-6911 or 1-888-225-4499.
- Select the Financial Aid tab.
- Select Academic Year 2011-2012.
- Before you can view and accept your awards, you must accept the Terms and Conditions for receiving financial aid. Click the Terms tab to view and accept the Terms and Conditions.
- Click the Awards tab to view your offered awards. Please view and accept your awards.
- It is important to note that some awards have informational messages. The financial aid listed is based on information submitted on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). These awards are based on full-time enrollment.
- Sign your master promissory note (EMPN). To complete the EMPN, you will need your PIN number that you used to sign the FAFSA. If you do not have it, you can request a duplicate PIN here.
- Complete the Entrance Counseling and print a copy of the confirmation page for your records. This will help you understand the rights and responsibilities that come with your student loan.
