The Required & Core Curriculum
The curriculum at Chase College of Law is designed to provide students a solid foundation on which any legal career can be built.
The first year of full-time law study provides students with the classic legal doctrine and basic skills required by every lawyer: Torts, Contracts, Civil Procedure, Property, Legal Writing and Legal Research. The first year of part-time law study requires Torts, Contracts, Legal Writing and Legal Research.
The upper levels of law study allow students to continue to develop significant understanding of core legal principles in courses such as Evidence, Tax Law, and Criminal Procedure, and to select among a wide range elective courses including seminars and practical skills courses.
