Experiential Learning

NKU Chase has several co-curricular activities available to its students.  These activities provide students with hands-on experience, and they also allow them to test their skills against those of other law students throughout the country.  Moot Court prepares students for competitions that test students' skills in writing appellate briefs and arguing before appellate courts, while Trial Advocacy develops students' skills in trying cases to a jury.  Other competitions in which students receive hands-on training include arbitration competitions, mediation competitions, and client counseling competitions. Arbitration Team: 

Although Chase students have only recently started to compete in arbitration competitions, these students have already accomplished the following: 2008 ABA Arbitration Competition Regional Semi-Finalists; 2007  ABA Arbitration Competition Regional Champions; and 2007 ABA Arbitration Competition National Semi-Finalists.
