Welcome to NKU Chase College of Law
Welcome! We are pleased to share our story with you. Founded in 1893 as a part-time "night law school," Chase quickly developed a reputation as "the Lawyers' School" because of its emphasis on using the region's finest lawyers to prepare students for the practice of law. Educating the best practicing lawyers in the region became a tradition at Chase.
That tradition continues today. As part of Northern Kentucky University, the fastest growing university in the region, we offer both a full-time and a part-time program. Both programs provide a holistic legal education while preparing students to be "practice ready" upon graduation.
To ensure that our students are well prepared for the profession, we offer them multiple opportunities to participate in the activities of two cutting edge, skills focused centers--the Center for Excellence in Advocacy and the Transactional Law Practice Center. Each of these centers is a student-focused endeavor by Chase faculty, alumni, and friends that allows our students to explore the intersection between their study of law and the realties of law practice.
We also recognize that public service is an important responsibility of members of the legal profession. The Chase Pro Bono Service Program provides students with a variety of exciting opportunities to engage in law-related public service. By graduation, each class at Chase will have contributed more than 10,000 hours of needed legal services to the Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati community.
The future of the NKU Chase College of Law is bright! We invite you to become a part of that future.
